Spring C̶l̶e̶a̶n̶i̶n̶g̶ Spending!

Updated: Apr 15, 2021

It’s that time of year again...where the skincare and make-up Gawds shine down and give us the Christmas of Springtime...the Sephora Spring Savings Event and the Ulta Spring Haul Event!

Both sales run from April 9th-19th and you may be able to score with super deals from both, depending on your VIB tier with Sephora and status with Ultamate Rewards. With Sephora you will get at least 10% off (Sephora Collection items going for 30% off) and Ulta is tempting us with at least 30% off and 2-for-1 deals on a variety of high-end and drugstore products.

Here’s a few of my picks from both sales! Go crazy!!! Let me know if you check any of these out!!!

* - product could be on sale at either Sephora or Ulta.

SEPHORA

Dior Lipstick “Nude Look 100” - This matte formula is beyond luxurious and totally worth the splurge! The color is universally flattering and perfect for light warm weather looks!

Charlotte Tilbury PillowTalk Instant Eye Palette - The blendability and color payoff of these shadows is incredible. They are long-wearing, absolutely beautiful, and versatile. Added bonus: the palette tells you what shades go where!

Tower 28 BeachPlease Lip + Cheek Cream blush - My favorite shades of this cream color are “Golden Hour” and “Happy Hour”. They have a sheer consistency but are buildable and beautifully pigmented on all skin tones. These colors leave the perfect amount of healthy, radiant, and sunkissed sheen on your face!

GrandeLash - MD Lash Enhancing Serum* - This serum takes about a month to “work” but I have been using it for a few years. I fell in love with the results once a month of use gave me the lashes I wanted to have when I paid for extensions. It’s an easy and quick added step to your nightly skincare routine. One tube lasts me anywhere from 6-9 months and length only gets better with consistent use.

Nudies Matte Blush and Bronze in “Beach Babe”* - I find myself loving easy and minimalistic make-up lately and I doubt my mindset will change as the weather gets warmer - I tend to be on the sweaty side. This warm rosy shade doubles as a blush and bronzer that gives you the look of a healthy tan. Added bonus here is that the packaging is pragmatic and the product is easy to use on the go.

Sephora AMA Cleanser - First, you can’t beat the price of this cleanser. Second, third, and fourth...it removes makeup, visibly cleanses and tones, and soothes the skin. It’s non-irritating and works for all skin types, especially if you’re oily like me and prefer a gel cleanser that gives you that “squeaky clean” feeling without the bad chemicals. Skincare has become a lot like a foreign language as of late but this cleanser is a perfect no-frills addition to your line-up that plays well with others.

SuperGoop Glow Screen - Since the pandemic tossed my daily routine into the garbage disposal, my go-to look now consistently includes tinted sunscreen. This quick absorbing liquid is clean, doesn’t clog pores, and adds a tasteful (not-glittery) glow to your face. Added bonus: the light sheen isn’t overwhelming for oily skin types and there's a larger size available for body application. This is a great product to catch on sale given the price tag!

ULTA

Coola Refreshing Water Mist Sunscreen - I bought this for the first time last Summer and love how it makes it easy for me to touch up my sunscreen coverage throughout the day in addition to acting as a coolant on insufferably hot days. Also, it smells amazing!

Maybelline Sky High Mascara - The $10ish drugstore mascara with a flexible wand that went viral on TikTok...need I say more?

Real Technique Beauty Sponges and Makeup Brushes - Perfectly awesome beauty sponges and make-up brushes that rival Beauty Blenders and other more expensive make-up tools. Perfect time to stock up, especially if you’re a make-up artist!

SheaMoisture Virgin Coconut Oil Collection - Pay attention Curly girls - this is a nod to you! This entire collection is excellent for curls, especially those of you that fall in the 3a-c category or if you are just beginning your curl journey. I began using the line in early 2017 when I decided to go curly full-time and I still incorporate the Leave-In Conditioner in my routine today.
